Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Urgent Care

I had a virtual visit earlier today. I had prescriptions called in that could not be filled.locally. So. I asked for other meds. Those got sent to the pharmacy with no instructions so those could not be filled. Then i had to pay for another appointment because the doctor i saw couldnt be contacted to correct the mistake and they said another doctor could not call in instructions. So I had to pay 2 co pays because their doctor made a mistake. And had to wait hours to get medication i needed urgently.

I can’t explain how wonderful this facility is. From walking in to checking out I am always greeted with a smile.The doctors are so kind and really listen to my concerns. I always book my appointment on line and never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. My regular Drs office is always hard to get an appointment so I am really grateful for this urgent care.

I went in for common cold/ flu symptoms. I explained that a had a terrible cough and sore throat and that I was coughing up green mucus. They tested for flu, covid, and RSV. They all came back negative. Instead of prescribing medication for my symptoms they just prescribed an inhaler because I have a history of childhood asthma. I have spend the last eight days coughing like crazy with very little sleep. I tried over the counter medication and used the inhaler, but nothing helped. I went to a different urgent care 8 days later with the same symptoms and they prescribed cough medicine, steroids, and antibiotics. The doctor was shocked they did absolutely nothing to help me. I recently visited the Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Urgent Care with my grandson for treatment, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding care we received from the entire team. From the moment we walked in, Autumn at the front desk greeted us with the biggest smile and such an approachable attitude that immediately put me at ease. She directed me to Kaci, who was truly one of the sweetest and most caring people I’ve ever met. She recognized that I was upset and patiently walked me through the paperwork, showing so much compassion and understanding that it still brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. Once we were seen, Nurse Katie provided gentle, thoughtful care, and Dr. Puttu was incredibly attentive. She made sure every detail was addressed and that my grandson was thorou

I came here a week ago, needing stitches in my hand. The entire staff was courteous and professional, and took care of me very well. I have not been satisfied with my urgent care that I have been going to. this is very close to my home and they were awesome. I’ll admit I had been here previously and wasn’t sure what I thought. It just goes to show you. Sometimes you have to go more than once to get a good feel of a place. I would highly recommend them.
