Piedmont Urgent Care

I visited this urgent care recently, and I was really impressed by how efficient and caring the staff were. The check-in process was quick and straightforward, and the front desk team was friendly and professional. I didn’t have to wait long to be seen, which was such a relief since I wasn’t feeling well. The medical staff(Jennifer and Saphira)were attentive, listened carefully to my concerns, and explained everything clearly. They made sure I understood my treatment plan before leaving and even followed up afterward to check on my progress. The facility itself was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. Checked my insurance beforehand and confirmed they were in network, though the cost was higher due to my deductible (not their fault). The visit itself was great—easy online check-in, no paperwork, and I was called back almost immediately. The doctor saw me quickly, completed a strep test, and my prescription was sent to the pharmacy. Clear instructions were provided. Efficient and well-run office.

On December 2nd 2025, I visited Piedmont urgent care in Dacula and I was very very disappointed. First, we spent over 2 1/2 hours there with no sense of urgency from their staff. I was prescribed 18 steroid tablets, to take in a very specific manner. My health was greatly jeopardized when the Nurse Practitioner made the grave mistake of only sending my pharmacy a quanity of FIVE steroid pills to fill. (SEE ATTACHED PICTURE) I did not notice this mistake until I got all the way back home, which made it hard in my condition to go back and fix. I called back to the urgent care, and got no apology!!. I was told it was just a computer clitch by receptionist Julia. Then Julia informed me that this prescription clitch/ errors had happened to others. This made me even more disturbed. I

This is a new Piedmont Urgent Care - and very close to my home - that's great. My daughter has an ear infection and I was able to make an appointment and get seen within hours. Great staff, and the doctor was very kind to my special needs daughter. Antibiotics called to our pharmacy and we were on our way. Easy, pleasant and kind, perfect appointment. Thanks Piedmont!!

I had a great experience at this urgent care. Jennifer and Bryan were amazing! From the moment I walked in, they were kind, patient, and extremely helpful. They made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. It’s not often you meet healthcare workers who are both professional and genuinely caring, but they truly went above and beyond.
