My nephew has been. Going to this dentist for quite some time. He got braces and everytime he would need something done to his teeth recommended by the orthodontist, we would call the office either columbia or florence location and rarely get a call back.. if we did it was weeks later. No communication and no ability to contact or talk with anyone. Even the orthodontist office tried many times to get through and was unsuccessful ....is that how a business is ran. No communication or professionalism at all. So mind you my 13 year old has been going for the last 2 years at least getting stuff done....and obviously nothing was done because out of a whole mouth of permanent teeth he has cavities on every tooth except 7. Now tell me how in the hell you have looked In this child's mouth and not
Best pediatric dentist office in the area! We moved to the Columbia area almost a year ago and after a few months I began asking friends and neighbors about a dentist office for my four children. Northeast was highly recommended by so many. I made appointments for all of my kids to have cleanings and had a good experience. I just recently took them back for their 6 months routine cleaning and it was even better than before. Dr. Lawhon and her staff are so friendly and know their stuff. My son had to go back for a couple of crowns and I was devastated almost to the point of getting a second opinion, however, the girl that schedule his appointment to get the crowns made me feel so much better. She took the time to explain the procedure to me in depth. My children feel very comfortable there
I have been patronizing this dentistry for 13 years for my children. In the beginning everything went fine, Dr. Lawhorn is great, however the way her business is run is questionable. This is the third time I have been scheduled and appointment for my daughters and I get there and they are closed, then tell you to call a number that tells you to go to a website, for the website to tell you because you have multiple patients listed under this email you need to make up multiple email addresses. This is absolutely unacceptable business behavior. I honestly think that this dentistry is trying to eliminate Medicaid patients by scheduling appointments on days they are closed and hope that they just don’t come back. Well you got what you wanted, I am done with this dentistry. I just spoke to the o
We set up our two year-old's first appointment six weeks out and showed up at 9:45 for a 10:00 AM appointment. My wife waited for ten minutes before someone was at the front desk to give her the paperwork to fill out. We ended up waiting for over an hour and still had not been called back. The full waiting room had emptied and people that had been called back before us had left. New people came in and they were called back. We inquired what was taking so long and were informed it was an emergency. The front desk staff was unapologetic and didn't seem to care we had waited for over an hour with a two year-old for a scheduled appointment. We told her we had to get back to work and of course a two-year old doesn't have a huge window of patience in a waiting room. The front desk worker left f
My son was referred for some dental work by our regular dentist, Dr.Victoria at first smiles (LOVE HER). We were least bit pleased. He is autistic and was actually excited to go to this appointment. My husband took him and ran into some traffic causing him to be 18, actually 22minutes as I was informed by the front desk, minutes late, he said the front staff was so rude and made it like he was an hour late! ( We did try calling and the phone was busy for over AN HOUR) Dr.Lawhon was actually pleasant which we were pleased with. At check out they just made the appointments instead of asking if those days would work for us. Sadly, this is the only local place and we will have to continue to deal with them until his work is done. We will def let our referring dentist know to please to careful
