North Shore Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics

For routine care this is a nice practice. Hygienists are wonderful with children and have a good bedside manner. They do always have TV playing in the waiting room, which is a big downside IMO for kids' brains. When my son had a dental emergency they charged us for X-rays and an evaluation but then sent us to Boston Children's for the actual dental work. When there we were told it was a routine extraction that should have been handled by our home dentist. It was a big hassle and we got double billed in the end. I was disappointed with how NSPDO handled this situation and have reached out to them multiple times to discuss the care we received and the billing, but cannot get a response from them. *Their response below invites me to "speak to them directly" about my concerns, which is laugh

Wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. Patty is the sweetest hygienist! My son is very sensitive to drs/dentist, has a very sensitive gag reflex- patty was very patient and friendly with him. She made accommodations for him to make things easier and doable for him. Great visit!

Chelsea was great as always. Explained everything as she was doing it. Made it very comfortable for my daughter.

While our experiences with dental care were positive, we were very frustrated by poor billing communication and lack of follow up regarding pending insurance claims. We ended up switching practices.

I take my four kids here and I love every experience so far. They schedule all my kids back to back on the same day. They are friendly, kind, and gentle. My kids are never scared to go. They have a comfortable waiting room with toys. I was always afraid that bringing all my kids to the dentist would be stressful but they make it so easy.
