North Florida Pediatrics Starke

We’ve had ongoing challenges with this office. Our son has monthly appointments for his ADHD medication, but the prescriptions are often not sent to the pharmacy correctly. Nearly every month, we have to follow up multiple times to get the issue resolved—either a medication is missing, or the necessary paperwork isn’t sent. While the staff may mean well, the lack of consistency and clear communication has made our experience very frustrating.

My child was a patient at this place years back and the desk personnel incompetent and extremely unprofessional didn't submit my child's health insurance information through medical billing in time so that payments could be collected/received and they then refused to see my five year old child anymore because I refused to pay out of pocket when asked to even though this wasn't my fault or five year old child's fault to pay out of pocket and reimburse them payments for their employee not submitting my child's health insurance information in time to be paid, this place is the worst of the worst a very shady low down and dirty unprofessional so called medical practice that seems to care only about them damn selves and not the health & well being of the children/ patients, avoid this place and

This Yearly Child Checkup will be out absolute last visit to the Starke Office. They cannot and will not work with you if you’re running late and call ahead to let them know. I asked when they close and was told the office closes shortly after 4pm so no other patients can be seen or booked after that time. I’ve raised concerns about my child’s health and constipation issues to have them not be concerned or helpful in either situation. Tried one medicine and when it did not work, they brushed it under the rug. Waiting to be seen for over 1 1/2 at times almost 2 hours every time we go to be seen. Or call when my child is sick to be told they cannot be seen. We will be finding another Dr office to go to.

It seems they over book appointments so that a sick child cannot be seen. Cannot speak to the Starke location on the phone. Never any same day appointments available. Refuse walk-ins during their walk in hours. I was told by the receptionist to come back tomorrow and see if they can fit her in then. We’re switching pcp.

Very disappointed in this Pediatrician's office. We took my newborn son for his 2 day following discharge appointment and had to wait for over 2 hours to be seen by a Physician Assistant. This was after our original appointment was rescheduled from the day prior due to overbooking. We were able to wait in a private room after waiting in the waiting room for about 15 minutes. I had a c section delivery and waiting on a hard chair for 3 hours total was really painful for me. I was in need of lactation and was never able to get any referrals or guidance from the office. My current pediatrician office has lactation consultants in house, as well as others available. As a new mom, this was very important for me and my baby and I did not receive the help I needed.
