Dr. Lloyd at North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic is an exceptional veterinarian with a level of patience and care that is rare to find. He understands cats in a way most vets don’t. Cats hide their pain, stress easily, and can be difficult to examine, but he handles them with calm confidence and incredible gentleness. My cat, Panda, hisses through nearly every appointment and makes it very clear how she feels about vet visits, but Dr. Lloyd handles her beautifully. He never rushes, stays calm the entire time, and somehow manages to complete a full exam while keeping her as comfortable as possible. It is honestly amazing to watch. We visited North DeKalb Veterinary Clinic when our regular vet was booked up. I took my cat to see Dr Lloyd and he was so thorough and compassionate! He put both my cat and me at ease and formulated a treatment plan. Shy Ronnie is still recovering but I feel sure she’s in good hands with Dr Lloyd.
