This was my second visit to the office. I was skeptical at first about going to a new dentist, but my experience has been great. On my first visit, I felt thinks went great, but I was a brand new patient. Even though I may still be considered new, I had the same or maybe even better experience this time. Check in was a breeze. I didnt have to wait 15-30min after my appointment time to get checked in, I was checked in immediately and called back shortly after. I constantly see all employees wiping everything down and cleaning behind each use in community areas. They even have this cleaning system for the keyboard and mouse. This was a phenomenal first time office visit from the moment I stepped through the door! Check-in process was smooth and efficient. I was seen quickly and on time. X-rays went quickly as well. Then I got to see Dr. Jillian first thing - most offices have your exam with the dentist after your cleaning but I got to meet with her right away. She was so warm, knowledgeable and thorough with both her exam and findings/recommendations. Then my very patient healthcare coordinator came in and explained the costs associated with the treatments being recommended. He verified which treatments would be best to knock out during my current visit and which ones could wait til my next visit. Just moved back to Decatur after spending my entire career up North, in four locations. I’ve had at least seven dentists and practices over my 70 years. North Decatur Dentistry is the first one that has overwhelmed me. I had three people work with me: Shan, Jael, and Dr Felton. Each one outstanding - easy to work with, made you feel comfortable, and explained everything thoroughly that they were going to do. They made recommendations that were spot on and I left with a very comfortable feeling about my future with them. I was able to get a Saturday emergency appointment and was welcomed by a friendly, professional team from the moment I arrived. Naim greeted me at check-in with such a warm attitude, and I barely had any wait time before my dental assistant, Ashley, brought me back. This what’s my first visit at North Decatur dentistry. Wow! The front desk was amazing. Naim called me to confirm my appointment and welcomed me when I arrived. The staff was professional, friendly and kind. The clinical staff, Shan and Ashley, explained all procedures, which eased my mind. The best part was meeting Dr. Felton. Her knowledge, listening skills and reassurance was a breath of fresh air. I felt seen and heard. What a sweet dental office 💕
