Nicklaus Children's at Cutler Bay

Last year, I felt it was important to mention that it was difficult to get in touch with someone and calls were not always returned. I’m happy to say I’ve seen a real improvement. I took my daughter in today for her yearly checkup, and the wait time was minimal and the staff was very friendly. Later in the afternoon, I called with a question and they returned my call in under 15 minutes. Much better experience!

The staff at the front is so nonchalant about their patients it’s almost like you have to beg them to do THEIR JOB. It is always the most difficult task to get forms filled out. It took me 4 months to get one form for my daughter’s school. I called on many occasions and Christina Avila ensured me it was sent to the school. After confirming with the school no forms were received. I contacted the doctor office again and was now told that there was no form on record. After insisting, I was then told the form has been waiting in office for pick up by No one reached out to me and lied to me on many occasions saying it was emailed to the school. I even had doctor’s appointments during the time that I was in the office and no one mentioned this. If this is how a doctor’s office operate with pleas

My Niece has been seeing Dr Contreras for 5 years and she is amazing. The staff is quick with check in and loves to see her. The MA and front desk are great from check in to check out . I would recommend coming to this office anytime

What an AMAZING PEDIATRICIAN AND OUTSTANDING STAFF!!! The location may be a bit small but the individuals that work at this facility make up for it all! Dr. Melanie Suaris is phenomenal! She is attentive, cares for my children's needs and provides amazing bedside manner. Ludis and Noah at the front desk provide the most professionalism and effectiveness that is needed to assure my children have all the documentation that is required for their physical and mental well being. Although they are understaffed they do their due diligence to get to every patient. Would recommend 10 out of 10. Thank you guys for the care and support! xoxo Valerie

Don't take your child here, worst pediatrics ever! They sent me to collections because they didn't get my insurance down right. We had an appointment and called ahead of time to let them know we were going and they said the doctor was on lunch and that to come in an hour we went and they said they were closed! I was pissed they third strike was when the nurse was overwhelmed with phone calls and left me on hold for 45mins!!!! When I hung up and called again she was like" I thought I asked u to hold people are so impatient" she left me on hold again for 45 mins I hung up and called again and they ignored my calls . so unprofessional I took my son their once never again worst place in to world! They should be shut down! I know take my son to the pediatrics assosation , they suck too but not
