Nicholas Ross, MD | Chapel Hill Dermatology (Chapel Hill)

Dr. Ross is exceptional. He listens with real intention, asks thoughtful questions, and explains everything clearly. At no point did I feel rushed. He walked me through every option and made sure I understood each one before deciding. His office staff and nurses were also incredibly friendly, which was a breath of fresh air compared to the hurried, impersonal experiences I have had at larger organizations. I highly recommend Dr. Ross and his team.

Dr. Ross is an excellent Dermatologist. He listens intently to all my concerns with kindness and understanding. I've saw many Dermatologists over the last few years for my scalp and hair loss problems. Dr. Ross takes time and examines my scalp closely and thoroughly. He really cares about his patients. He is actively trying to discern the correct diagnosis for me. Other Dermatologists have only ran their hands through my hair with no help.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I had a great experience with Dr. Ross. He was incredibly detailed and thorough in explaining my skin condition, taking the time to walk me through exactly what was going on and why. I really appreciated how he broke down the pros and cons of the medications, which made it much easier to make an informed decision. He also laid out several options for future treatment, which gave me a sense of control and clarity moving forward. I left the appointment feeling heard, informed, and supported. Highly recommend Dr. Ross for anyone looking for a dermatologist who communicates clearly and cares about patient understanding.

Overall a good visit. The assistant, I believe her name was Catrina, was very nice, professional and respectful. Physician was polite, knocking on the door on his way in. He was thorough and skilled but maybe a little too hurried. I had to ask the assistant for clarification on the concern for the place that was biopsied. Both front desk employees were nice and professional. The office condition was a little tired but, not as bad as described in some of the other reviews. I am still amazed that any dermatologist that I have seen here or other practices don’t wear gloves during the examination. Dr. Ross & the staff at Chapel Hill Dermatology were incredible from start to finish. They were professional, efficient, and made every part of my overdue derm appointment comfortable and informative. The best part was the ability to get in as a new patient only 3 days after my first introduction instead of waiting weeks or months to be seen. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a best in class experience with immediate direction and consultation.
