NextCare Urgent Care Aurora

Had an appointment on the 28th of this month, the whole experience was completely awful.. to the completely unprofessional front desk guy, very unwelcoming and watching videos on high volume during my wait in the lobby to getting called back finally and being completely dismissed by the doctor who I seen. Had complaints with a sore throat, ear pain, and congestion with sinus pressure. The doctor looked into my ears and throat for a total of half a millisecond each and goes "looks perfectly normal but your throat is a little red" they swabbed me for flu strep and COVID and everything came back negative, so they had no idea what to say or do next so they just sent me home with the advice of "feel better"... Very happy to learn such a supportive place is right around the corner from my home. I went in with some ongoing concerns but had a hard time getting a PCP established. I felt heard and well taken care of. They provided all necessary tests, labs and resources for follow up. There was a medical emergency that happened at the front of the office while I was in the exam room. Everyone acted quickly and handled it in such a professional way. Really appreciated the care given here!

Constantly, throughout the last 6 months, I have been treated like a prescription number across my providers. Dropped, ignored, shifted around, or even argued with about what i'm experiencing. But here, from the very moment I called, nobody treated me like that. They saw I was in pain, they advocated for me, listened, found me resources… they treated me like a human being. I felt heard, validated and seen. They did a better job than my PCP ever has. Before I even went to get my prescription, I was already being healed. Thank you all so much. If you need to be seen urgently, stop reading reviews. This is the place.

I would not recommend coming here. They took my blood pressure and everything that lasted two minutes. I was in an exam room for 15 minutes top but only the person talk to me for like two minutes and then tells me that they can’t take x-rays at this location and they’re referring me somewhere else so I paid $35 just to sit there and for them to look at my hand for two seconds and tell me I need to go somewhere else to take my insurance which I had to pay more money to get that done. My note description possible sprain they should’ve called or let me know right away that they couldn’t take x-rays at this location. I was supposed to get a call with my x-rays results that same day no call unit I called before the closing time to see what was the hold up and they said someone will call me be

PA Krista Newman was excellent! Super friendly receptionist. I was seen right away and started on a treatment plan immediately with a referral to a specialist at Parker Adventist for a follow up. All within about 30 minutes. Amazing!
