Had the most horrific experience in their ER. We waited over 3 hours with barely any patients in the waiting room whatsoever. Finally they call my mother back and I walk over to the nurse with her. The nurse says only 1 visitor allowed. I said I am her only visitor. Then she proceeds to interrogate me about my age. I told her I was over 18 years of age. Now she tells me there’s no visitors allowed back at all. At this point I’m confused and frustrated because I was just told 3 different stories. I went back to waiting in the waiting room while they took her back. About 45 minutes goes by and no updates. Then, my mother calls me in distress telling me that she was being mistreated. Staff on the 5th floor were very good to my husband during his 3-day stay before being transported to NYC. And I believe he was getting good care...but the place is a dump. The parking garage is a joke, the elevator in the garage was broken all 3 days - i have a handicap placard and had to park on the top floor, and walk down, and then back up. The staff at the front desk were unconcerned. I was there on the weekend and would have liked to see somebody from administration walking the hallways, picking up the garbage that laid in the hallway for hours and perhaps cleaning the heat vent on the 5th floor outside of the elevators. Good morning. I am writing to report an incident that occurred yesterday. I was admitted to the emergency room after sustaining an injury from a fall on ice. I must express my concern regarding the cleanliness of the room I was initially assigned. However, I would like to commend Nurse Juan for his exceptional attentiveness and care. His diligent monitoring, seemingly every five minutes, significantly contributed to my positive experience. Nurse Juan's professionalism and dedication are the sole reasons I am rating my experience with five stars. Without his outstanding service, my rating would have been considerably lower. I had surgery at this clinic and my experience was excellent. From the moment we arrived by car, starting with the parking area, everything was organized at the highest level. I must admit that before coming, I felt a bit hesitant after seeing the rating and number of stars, but in reality, my experience exceeded all expectations. Everyone who works at this clinic is extremely polite, professional, and welcoming. The entire staff is friendly, warm, and always willing to help and answer any questions. Their genuine care and positive attitude made a big difference and created a very comfortable atmosphere. Throughout the entire process, I felt safe and well cared for. UPDATE #2: I called the patient advocate to review my father’s case because obviously when his situation goes from hospice, then to be transferred to another hospital that can care for his condition (there was no oncologist in the building while he was admitted) to ICU all in the same day (nothing further had progressed or any additional incidents) and the ICU doctor tells you that there should have been no conversation about transfer, then obviously communication is seriously wrong. Everyone came back after memorial day, did their own individual jobs, and I was left confused and traumatized. I was hung up on multiple times by the patient advocates. The “review letter” contained more inconsistencies than his medical records, and had statements that are easily disproven through his lab wor
