While the exterior of the building looks a bit outdated and the surrounding roads can be hectic with double-parked ambulances, my experience at NYPH LM was overall positive. I visited the ER and the Labor & Delivery department, and both experiences were made great by the attentive and accommodating staff. The ER was well-equipped, and they were thorough in testing to rule out potential issues. The Labor & Delivery department is currently undergoing renovations to add more private rooms. I was fortunate enough to have a private room in May 2025 (obviously not one of the renovated ones). Despite the facilities being a bit worn, I had no major complaints thanks to the excellent staff. The food could be improved, but I think that’s to be expected at a hospital. TL;DR: The facilities are a b

Avoid this disgusting place at all costs. I asked the nurse a question she responded with an attitude stating she just came back from lunch. The other staff members are talking on their phones laughing and joking a round in the er. In addition that same nurse took vitals, blood work never came back for the urine. This hospital is un clean unsanitary. Nurses and doctors are discussing patients private info in the hallway. Today was a slow day for this hospital’s very little patients. Certainly no reason for a nurse to be on edge about a question. Never again.

Our son was just born at this hospital through our OBGYN at Weill Cornell, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care we received. From the pre-partum to labor and post-partum stages, every team member was truly patient-centric and compassionate. As first-time parents (EXTREMELY ANXIOUS), especially for a first-time mom, we felt fully supported every step of the way. The team knows how to manage the expectations and create a second-to-none experience for us. The staff — including amazing nurses like Alysa, Natasha, Hillary, Michelle, and many others whose names we, unfortunately, didn’t catch — went above and beyond to make sure both mom and baby were safe, comfortable, and cared for. Nurses are very important in the execution of every second but also thanks to the doctor te

All of the staff were so kind and friendly. I felt listened too, they were attentive and we were in and out in under 2 hours. Also, the staff was full of ethnic backgrounds which it is important for health care to have representation. Highly recommend.

Horrible experience , had an allergic reaction & was throwing up all the way to the ER. Get to the ER & a nurse came semi fast & asked me the usual questions. I told them I was dehydrated because I’ve been throwing up, no water or just was given. I fall asleep & wake up to the doctor asking me what was wrong which led to his decision to discharge me & just give me a Benadryl. He leaves & another female comes to give me the Benadryl. I fall asleep for 10 mins. Then later another female came asking for my insurance info which i provided I felt super dizzy at the time & the lady told me to relax & sit for another 15 mins til im not dizzy. I asked her for something to drink & nobody ever came. I then wake up 5 mins later to the female who gave me the Benadryl yelling at me to leave th
