I took my over year old Syrian hamster, Asher, to this clinic for the first time. I woke up in the afternoon and realized my little one was in bad respiratory distress and seemed very sick. They were willing to let me take him in right away as soon as I got there. The person before the vet was very caring and listened to all of my concerns. They took my little one in the back to do some simple examination and figure out what was going on with him, then vet came in after awhile. She told me that he is in extreme respiratory distress and she said there aren’t many treatments to help my little one feel comfortable. I asked her if it is time that I should let him go, she told me it’s 100% my decision and I told her that I am ready to put down my little one. He seemed to be in extreme pain too

One of the most HORRIFIC EXPERIENCES I've ever had having to put my dog to sleep. They did not follow my instructions and by the time I realized they gave her the kill shot without allowing her anesthesia to take effect it was too late. I was left alone in the room with my dog frozen in time with her eyes open.... The most brutal thing they coukd have done. I just picked up my dog.... and of course her leash and collar are NOT part of her ashes... RUN AWAY IF YOU WISH FOR DIGNITY.... You won't get it here. They did get my cash before they brought her in to murder her in my arms.... with her eyes open.... Now im enraged that they handed me her leash with her body in a box....

I called and set up two visits for two puppies to have their routine 12 week shots with this clinic. A week before my visit, one of the puppies was acting lethargic. My biggest worry was parvo. Called and they were able to get her in right away. They took her into the back, and did nothing to her in front of me. They said her tummy was sore, and the two puppies had gotten into the trash so it made sense. The vet said she wanted to do X-rays. They worked up an estimate. 550-950! Low end 550. I asked for 1 view in Xray and was told no. The vet also said to me not testing for parvo as she thinks she was fine. Mandatory 3 views with X-rays which I’ve never encountered before. We paid $576. They said that she was backed up with a lot of poop and dehydrated. They gave her a medication, sent me h

This review is for the emergency center only, I have no experience with the primary care facility. TERRIBLE experience. The dog I received back after a 7 hour vet visit for dehydration was in worse shape than the dog I dropped off. They had to do two blood draws because they messed up the first one so badly and contaminated the sample. On the second blood draw, they caused massive bleeding, bruising, and trauma to my 8 lb dogs neck. I was charged for Iv fluids and needles, which I was never sent home with, and had to call and ask them to refund them. My primary care vet had to redo all the tests they did because, in his words, the records were “abysmal.” If you care at all about your pet, do NOT take them here.

Wonderful experience provided by everyone here when I made the difficult decision to let our beloved Tilly Rose rest in peace. Compassion at a difficult time, professional during the process and comfort knowing she was in a better place because of Newberrytown. Thank you
