New York Oral and Facial Surgery

I had a wisdom tooth extracted earlier this week and was extremely anxious about the entirety of the procedure from insurance coverage, to pain. The staff was fantastic and every time I called with a question it was addressed promptly. I saw Dr. Cho and he was wonderful and did a great job managing my expectations in terms of the actual extraction. He also did a great job with the procedure itself! It was fast and easy and I've experienced minimal pain! Also want to give a shout out to Bianca who graciously helped me in the elevator after and also Victoria who assisted with the procedure. And another shout out to reception who was wonderful. Would definitely return to New York Oral and Facial for any future procedures (though hopefully not for a while! lol)

Had my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Cho recommended using PRP, which is a somewhat expensive out-of-pocket cost but I'm very glad I got it. I had almost no pain or discomfort after a few hours I can barely tell that I had a tooth extracted. Dr. Cho and the rest of the staff are absolutely brilliant.

Wow! This place was truly amazing. I called on a Monday AM with wisdom tooth pain and was able to be seen and tooth removed same day. The woman at the front desk helped me SO SO much as I do not have dental insurance. She helped me make the best decision for my budget and teeth (I am blanking on her name right now) Dr. H checked on me a couple of hours after tooth removal- which was super nice! The tooth was removed in like 5 minutes! He was super fast and was so so kind to me and making some jokes as I was super nervous. Cannot say enough good things. I have 2 more wisdom teeth left to remove, I will be back here to remove them- I truly had a great experience here. Thank you guys so much!!!

I can’t fault Dr Cho or the nursing staff who were all great with my daughter, but please beware of misleading price quotations and over-charging if you are self-pay. When I called to ask how much a procedure would cost, I was given a range and told that the exact cost would depend on the complexity of the operation. After the first consultation I was given an invoice that quoted the highest price in the range and when I asked why this was the case, I was told that the doctor would only know the cost after the surgery, and that they always quoted for the “worst case scenario”. After the procedure, which the doctor described as simple and straightforward, I was billed for the highest amount. I was visiting NYC from abroad and I was experiencing severe pain in my mouth. Thanks to his expertise, Dr. Cho was immediately able to assess where the pain was coming from and redirect me to an ENT doctor. I was really impressed by his expertise and compassion!
