New Modern Dental Center: Sotomayor Ciro DDS. PA.

This place has completely gone downhill. The service at Modern Dental Center is disgusting and beyond unprofessional. The front desk lady, Ana, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered — she literally screamed at me in front of everyone in the waiting room, talking to me in a nasty, arrogant tone like I wasn’t even human. What’s worse, all the other staff just stood there watching and didn’t do a thing. To make matters worse, they made me sit there for two hours just to tell me it was a “check-up” — something they had already done before. Over the phone they made it sound like I was coming in for treatment, just to turn around and bill my insurance for another unnecessary visit. It’s obvious they’re just trying to make a quick buck off their patients and their insurance companies

I waited in the car for my boyfriend while he went in for what we were told would be a treatment appointment. Instead, they made him sit there for over two hours past his appointment time, only to tell him it was just a check-up they had already done before. He came out completely upset, stressed, and humiliated after being disrespected by the front desk woman, Ana. She was unbelievably rude and unprofessional — talking down to him, raising her voice, and treating him like he didn’t matter. No one from the staff stepped in or tried to handle the situation professionally. After wasting that much time, to be treated like that is absolutely unacceptable. He and his staff are good at what they do, but this rating comes from the wait time to actually start the appointment and finish simple procedures efficiently. I am no expert but I am sure that fixing something simple for braces should not take an hour and a half. Again they are good, but dont expect to be in and out in an hour account for at least 2 hours of your time to be there. Bring a book or fully charged phone to pass the time.
