New London Hospital

My 2 year old son has been a patient here and we love his primary care doctor and the nurses, but tonight was our first time visiting the emergency department. I appreciate the patience and gentleness they showed my son, especially the doctor. He took the time to ask questions to figure out what would make our toddler most comfortable before doing anything and after we found out what was going on he was extremely informative yet still got us in and out fast. Couldn’t be happier with our experiences here, thank you!

Last week I had an emergency during my PT session. I was extremely dizzy, nauseous and I had very high blood pressure. I couldn't walk straight so they coded me red, I found myself surrounded by a large team of doctors and nurses in the Emergency Department. With my history of 2 previous strokes at age 30 they did a whole lot of tests on my brain. CT scans with contrast, and MRI, blood work and EKG. The doctors and nurses were outstanding in their care of me. Full of compassion and patience. I have a severe problem with needles and blood being taken. I have PTSD around this. They were absolutely amazing. I wanted to say publicly a Huge `Thank-you` for all your care, understanding and expertise. They did not find anything major. Very impressed by this local hospital. The staff, from the admins to the nurses and doctors, were all friendly and helpful, and I have received excellent care. Its interior is a bit dated, but you're not in there for the aesthetics. If you want caring, knowledgeable medical service--people who actually know your name and take the time to listen--New London Hospital is a great option.

I have had to bring my children to Express Care a couple of times recently. I have to say that we have always gotten in quickly and have been tended to with care and compassion. All the nurses have been fantastic, especially Matt. Yesterday we experienced an unexpected situation that required immediate surgery. Dr. Bear, his nursing team and the anesthesia specialist treated my daughter with such intricate care. Joe answered all questions and he and Matt and Dr. Griffin returned hours later to check on us. We were blown away and are forever grateful for their quick service.

Have been extremely happy with this hospital, especially Michael Simpson ARPN. Who has taken great care of my health, patient and listens. Unfortunately he is leaving at end of year and sadly I will no longer be allowed to participate in this health care due to Medicare changes in N.H. very disappointed.
