Customer Reviews
During one of the hardest seasons in our lives (our mother's hospice care), NHLP was truly exceptional. The entire staff was kind, courteous, skilled and truly caring. These type of facilities hear plenty of complaints and many are deserved, but I have no complaints at all. I would not hesitate to recommend NHLP to anyone.
This facility allowed my grandmother to be abused by a CNA. The excuse they used was that my grandmother was dying and she was confused. My grandmother is of pretty sound mind and alert. She speaks well and was living alone until about 3 months ago. She was abused and afraid to tell her family. I hate that she has to stay here. I hate they she was treated this way. I HATE EVEN MORE THAT THEY FOUND THEMSELVES NOT GUILTY OF ABUSE AFTER AN "INVESTIGATION". BUT THE CNA WILL BE ALLOWED TO WORK ON THE WING ALONE. Giving us the excuse that she's dying and confused as the reason for the abuse to be ok is absolutely insane. The facility is beautiful. The staff is meh. I hope to GOD that I don't have any other family members here. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN.
My sister has been in this facility for about a year. She complains that she gets no physical therapy, no meds for lupus, cannot see a doctor, rude nurses and CNA's, unsanitary conditions, slow to cleanup patients after incontinence, etc. etc. etc...
The place stinks. When I went to pick up my dad, I had my grandaughter with me but she was running a fever. The facility wanted me to bring my sick granddaughter in and expose all the patients. Bill brought him out and was very hateful and rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
My 92 y/o mother stayed several weeks for rehab after a fall and partial hip replacement. I highly recommend it. The environment is clean and safe. The administrative staff is personable and accessible. The nursing staff is friendly, kind, respectful, and attentive. The food is delicious and they do their best to accommodate the patient's preferences. And, last but certainly not least, the physical and occupational therapists do a wonderful job of rehabbing their patients. This is not your typical rehab/nursing home!
