Nevada State Veterans Home

Elite Mobile Notary Service recently assisted a client at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City and was truly impressed by the experience. The staff was professional, compassionate, and extremely accommodating throughout the visit. The facility was clean, well-organized, and calm, creating a comfortable environment for both residents and visitors. Everyone I interacted with was respectful, patient, and clearly dedicated to serving our veterans with dignity and care. It’s evident that the residents are in good hands here. My husband was here for 16 months before he passed away, and he had the best care! Most of the staff there is absolutely phenomenal. Many long term employees that treat your loved one like family. I have one teeny complaint and that is I was very surprised that they did not have a support group nor orientation for family members of new residents. Some of us wives started our own group. The first couple months my husband was there at times was very confusing understanding polices and procedures, and it was devastating to have him go into a nursing home. A support group at that time would have been awesome! But again... the care he received exceeded my expectations!

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a preliminary review. I'll revise (edit) it later if need be. But at the moment, my friend, whom I'm a caregiver for, loves the place. We talk everyday, often twice a day, and he said he is so well taken care of. The food is good. The staff is super kind and compassionate. It almost could be described as heaven for him. I'm reading the other reviews, and I'm baffled to be honest. I'm leaving this review as a big THANK YOU to the facility. You all are taking very good care of my friend Ronald L. who moved from Alabama to that home. All his fears and anxieties are calm now. He loves it there, and I'm very impressed myself. I'll be moving from Alabama to that area in the next month or two. I can't wait to see him again and meet the staff. Thank you all so very much. Kevi

My dad lived here for a month before passing away from health issues. The nurses, doctors and support staff were so wonderful. They went above and beyond to take great care of my dad before his passing and I will be forever grateful for all they did.

Wonderful staff. They keep great care of the residents, making them feel comfortable and well loved. They can keep the residents entertained by letting them go on "field trips" Or letting them watch singers and dance. They also have many board games and puzzles. They can attend to almost any type of medical need. My loved one has lived there for almost 5 years. He says he loves it there and will want to continue to live there. Would 10/10 recommend letting your loved ones to go to.
