⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been bringing my two basset hounds to Neuse River Vet for the past three years, and I can honestly say I’ve had nothing but great experiences. From the moment you walk in, the front desk team is kind, professional, and welcoming. They make us feel like family every single time. Dr. Connie is hands down the best veterinarian we’ve ever worked with. She’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and straightforward. I never feel like they’re trying to upsell or push unnecessary services, just honest, compassionate care that’s clearly focused on what’s best for my dogs. What really blew me away was a call I received the day after one of our recent visits, just to check in on how my puppy was doing. That level of care and follow-up says everything about the kind of people they are. Neuse

DO NOT GO HERE! To start this is not about the support staff or vet techs, they have been great with my animals. Dr. Ballister has absolutely no clue what she is doing and allowed my dog to be misdiagnosed and treated for something that was not wrong. After being given fluids and potassium, my dogs symptoms did not improve and I took him to an ER where a doctor who knew what she was doing was able to diagnose and treat him and within 12 hours he is doing remarkably better. Dr Ballister is a joke of a vet and I wouldn’t trust her to take care of a goldfish.

Been going here since we moved to Wendell in 2021 and we just love the care that Dr. Connie and her team delivers. They are just wonderful at what they do.

I’ve been coming to Neuse River Veterinary Hospital over the past 5 years. Recently they’ve opened up a beautiful new facility which makes appointments a delight. Dr. Ballester sees our two dogs, and Dr. Connie our new kitten. The team spoils our animals and dotes on them as if they were their own. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in search of a facility where you feel included and supported when it comes to the care of your animals.
