I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Moss. We thought my husband had recurrent melanoma in his brain. The compassion he showed our whole family was astonishing. His knowledge and expertise is top notch. Other surgeons were not sure it could fully be removed yet Dr Moss assured us from the beginning he could remove it all and he did. Also, everyone on his team, including clerical staff were so attentive and efficient with answering messages, scheduling, etc. Rest assured you could not be in better hands when you choose Dr Moss.

I have been diagnosed with a benign large skull tumor in Jun 2024 by Dr. Moss. From my very first consultation he was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain the procedure in detail and addressing all my concerns with patience and compassion. He ultimately decided to remove the tumor by performing craniectomy and cranioplasty surgeries in Jul 2024. The surgery itself took more than 10 hours and went remarkably well a testament to Dr. Moss and his team of neurosurgeons, showcasing their mastery of the craft. His calm approach and confidence reassured both me and my family throughout the entire process. This review is long overdue. Me and my husband can not say enough wonderful things about Dr Nelson Moss and his entire team! We are very blessed to be referred to Dr Moss after my husband was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor. My husband had 2 surgeries at a private hospital before his diagnosis and that surgeon was only able to remove a small portion of the tumor. Dr Moss immediately told us that he felt confident he would be able to remove most of if not all of the tumor and that's exactly what he did for my husband not once but twice after my husband experienced his first recurrence this past September. We were lucky enough to be referred to Dr Moss by my daughter in law (who works for Sloan) for a possible re occurrence of metastatic prostate cancer in the brain. He underwent brain surgery on the 3rd of October and it was found that what was thought to be more cancer was scar tissue growing around the rim of the previous surgery 14 months before I am so grateful that we placed our trust in this amazing and humble surgeons hands. We will always remember his caring, concern and kindness during this very stressful time for my husband and myself. I am a little late on writing this review. About 7 years ago, Dr. Moss performed emergency surgery to take out a golf ball size tumor I had in my brain. He was amazing. He made it seem like it was a no brainer for him no pun intended. He’s so skilled and knowledgeable. 7 years later and I’m still doing well. Thank you Dr! Forever grateful.
