I had major back surgery on February 2025 and i must say,from the time of my initial contact with the orthopedic into my scheduling for the surgery,I had nothing but a consistent,caring experience with the entire staff at UNC Rocky Mount..The complicated surgery was a success and the surgeon was and still a caring person for my recovery status..

I had an Mri with contrast today. Everyone from the front door until I was walked out were great. Professional and friendly. Was very clean and the appointment was on time as well.

I would love to share our experience if anyone is interested. I suggest going to Greenville, Raleigh or Durham instead of Nash General. UPDATE as of July 6, 2020: To Nash General: I will be glad to respond if you provide a direct contact number. I have already filed 2 complaints with the hospital. One has been responded to basically downplaying the seriousness of my complaints on both patient care and family communication. I am awaiting the response to the second complaint, but honestly, I have no hopes that the hospital is taking it seriously nor do they care about the failure of care for my family member. My second complaint involved my overhearing a nurse tell my father he was not her only patient and she was leaving him in his room with his failing lungs. I overheard her saying "Are

I Was supposed to have umbilical hernia surgery at the end of February, but the anesthesiologist said I was non compliant with CPAP and denied my surgery, and that was because my CPAP machine was recalled and the FDA issued a Do Not Use order on it. If the FDA issues a Do Not Eat order for contaminated meat, are you still going to eat it?

Matthew Collins is a truly GREAT Doctor! Was very honest with the possible complications and outcomes, even though they were tough for his line of work. ALL the nurses are AMAZING!!! It is literally like being at home and Family taking care of her. Thanks for such a great experience!!!
