MUSC Health Urology - Columbia Medical Park Northeast

Contrary to the few reviews I read, my experience with MUSC Urology Northeast was extremely positive. It was easy to get my appointment. All the staff were extremely nice and professional. My Nurse Practitioner Christie Dawn Pikes is exceptional. She's very caring and compassionate. Listened well and encouraged me to ask questions. She was sensitive towards my mental Health needs and concerns relative to the procedure I may have to have. I am so glad I chose this Urology office to go to.

Very unprofessional from the very first interaction, doesn't answer the office phone like is this not a business, provides inadequate confusing information, only has 1 doctor that works 6 days a month, called one hour before scheduled appointment and cancelled, lied about rescheduling the appointment, just a terrible place. Don't bother trying to talk to MUSC corporate complaint or executive leadership to try to voice your concern to receive adequate treatment and care because they will ignore the client surveys, your calls, emails and everything else. So that tells me they are not committed to quality care.

If i could give zero stars I would. Just so you know Dr. V treated me like I was drug seeking when I asked for something stronger than motrin for a few days. He was an HOUR late for my appt, his office staff failed to even pay attention to some of the problems that I am having. I had to argue with them that he did NOT write for the amt he says he did Monday. I had to call my PCP to get anything done. I was treated very horribly when trying to communicate with them. I am transferring to a totally different urologist because of how poorly I was treated. My PCP was in shock when I told her they only gave me 2 days worth. That they ignored the problems I'm having. That they didn't send an antibiotic home. So whatever you do... do NOT use them.

Prompt and courteous care.

Had a referral sent to them to be seen and two weeks later I have not received a call from them. I have tried calling them for three days at different times and have not had anyone even answer the phone. Beginning to wonder if they even exist. Guess I will have to find another location.
