Mt Sinai Faculty Doctors

The Endocrinology department is a joke. I've seen Dr. Pal and she complained to me that I don't go see her much when I can't make a early appointment with her because when you make a appointment you will see Dr. Pal in 5-6 months sometimes even more. I mostly saw Sylvaine most of the time but she didn't know what she was doing. I did whatever she told me but it nothing worked because my blood sugar was still high and she told me to increase Tresiba every week. Is she insane??? You are supposed to increase Tresiba once a month not once a week. If you need to see a Endocrinologist go somewhere else you won't be happy here.

The heavyset, light-skinned receptionist is an angry, uncooperative, rude & unfriendly and will visit that upon you. Your questions will be answered with an aire of defiance, making you feel she's doing you a favor even being there. The other light-skinned receptionist is curt and dismissive. There's lots of attitude here, not a speck of humanity, professionalism, kindness or warmth.

The Mount Sinai endocrinology practice has abysmal administrative and medical staff support personnel at the practice at E60th street in Manhattan. The skill of the doctors is irrelevant. The practice is impossible to arrange appointments through, has absolutely no follow up procedures, never returns phone calls or messages, it operates through a vast central Mount Sinai switchboard. If you have a medical condition avoid this practice. There is no ability to reach a doctor you have already seen through this administration and medical support system.
