Mt. Shasta Animal Hospital

I took my 19-year-old Kitty into Mt Shasta Animal Hospital for her wellness checkup. My concern was she had mats I could not get out myself, due to her age she's stopped grooming herself. The tech was able to shave her without sedation and my kitty it is purring again! The receptionist was friendly and compassionate, the Dr called to tell me the results of the exam. The vet tech was so patient in shaving her and told me what a cooperative patient my kitty was. Check out and payment was quick. I'm very thankful to have my cute lion cut kitty happy again. From check in to check out my experience was 5 stars.

I was having an emergency with my 14 year old dog yesterday and they were very quick to put me straight into a room and even though I told them I had to be mindful of my finances and gave them a total to stay by they did an amazing job of staying to that number and got my old girl back on her feet, though recover will take some time she is much better. I cannot Thank all the staff enough!

A little tiny Veterinarian in Mount Shasta, Even though they’re understaffed and overwhelmed (they’re the only one for miles around) they are still courteous & friendly. It will take a minute to get your initial scheduling with the vet, after that most everything can be taken care of by the vet technicians. They are not miracle workers, their reality checks can seem harsh as the Situations present themselves, they don’t sugarcoat. However they do what they can, they offer options and solutions. They are not offended to work within your budget; after your initial visit, you can come back for testing, some medications, flea and tick control, heartworm prevention, wormer and other concerns, Without the added expense.

I wouldn't even get this awful place one star. They let our chihuahua bleed to death in the lobby because it wasn't his turn never go back. I hate all of you for what you did and didn't do To my best friend. As to your response,( you would never to let a dog suffer.) You did I will be more specific We brought our little Chihuahua in. He broke a nail back into a vein. He was bleeding severely. We had a hand towel wrapped around his paw. It was soaking up the towel. I'm showing it to you People as bloods dripping off of and on your floor. All you had to do was take him back and cauterize it to stop the bleeding until you was able to see him by the time I finally got your attention, he was already passing out. Finally stopped the bleeding hours later and 300 something dollars later. Took him

Everyone we interacted with at Mt Shasta Animal were just wonderful! Our dog come down with vestibular disease and they were able to get him on an IV the first day we needed to. We appreciate it so much. Wonderful care all around.
