CVS Pharmacy

Horrible! The worst CVS! Closed for days due to no power but no back up generator? Really? For the location I would think they would be better prepared, so for days we’ve not been able to get medication for a family member that just had surgery. They never pick up the phone to verify if they are open or not. When they finally open up they say that our meds aren’t there and refused to figure out what is going on. The hospital confirmed multiple times that medication had been sent to this location so it’s clear the staff at CVS refused to do their jobs that could very well cost people their life! When they are open they close for two hours in the middle of the day for lunch. Why? You always see people at the door waiting. This location is beyond unprofessional.

There is usually a line at this CVS Pharmacy, but they get through the line somewhat quickly. Depending on who you get for service they are either somewhat nice or just neutral, straight to business. The main store cashier with the curly dirty blonde hair is a total sweetheart, she has always been helpful if I have a problem or question.

Joseph was perfect. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and professional. CVS did a great job on my vaccinations.

My prescription was partially ready for pickup in 1.5+ hours and I got notified right before their lunch break which adds another a half an hour. The second medication has no ETA yet because they need some clarification from the Doctor. The customer service provided by phone was neither helpful or friendly.

Thank you CVS for having a great store in Mt Shasta. With Rite Aid having closed, it is a busy location, but the staff is great at handling the crowd.
