Mountains Community Hospital

I can never understand people who make generalizations about the overall quality of a facility based on only one experience. My wife and I have been living on this mountain for over 30 years full-time and I hate to think of how many times I've been here for ER or radiology or blood work or CT scans or x-ray; I think I've seen just about every department here and I can't recall any experience that was anything less than outstanding. EVER. Not too long ago I had pain in my left arm, which can be a sign of heart trouble. It wasn't debilitating by any measure but I thought I should have it checked, just in case. I went into the ER, told the receptionist my problem and within a couple of minutes I was in the back, IV started, blood being drawn, monitors hooked up and beeping away... everyone

We had to visit the ER today. Everyone there was so caring, competent, and friendly. They saw the emergency and got my friend stabilized before they even had us do paperwork. This is a true community hospital and I’m so grateful it’s there. They treated all patients we saw today with respect and compassion. Thank you, MPC. I feel safer and calmer knowing that your hospital is open when we need medical attention.

Heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Mountains Community Hospital. Every doctor, nurse, and auxiliary person from cafeteria to maintenance was incredibly professional, kind and so very caring. You actually listen to your patients and do your utmost to facilitate their healing and improve their hospital experience. I've been hospitalized many times for bowel obstructions, and have never been taken care of so finely. Have only the highest praise for your entire hospital. Much gratitude for your excellent service and genuine caring humanity.

On Christmas Eve I dropped in at 2 PM because I was having a hard time breathing.We went thru the usual procedures and I got some steroid shots and breathing session for the nebulizer. I was out of there in four hours and I have to say they were Perfect in Every way. Thank you for doing a great job and happy holidays .

Mountains hospital is a great hospital but what's even better is the support staff behind all doctors and nurses. The Admin people who usually don't get the credit they deserve. I specifically want to give my deepest thank yous to Betty in patient financial for endless working with me for a year over a medical bill. Not only did she have my back but she always made me feel heard. Mountains is lucky to have her and I was lucky to have her deal with my case. Thanks again Betty!! You are a godsend!
