If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm from Florida where the care is subpar so i was expecting at least an ounce of professionalism, given what i thought was an amazing reputation. My family came to New York City for a momentous occasion. As we checked out i had a seizure and repeated hit my head. I have a rare form of hemophilia that mostly affects those that are Jewish, and being that dr.s are more experienced with it because of the large jewish population, I was happy to go where I was understood. Well, didn't get the clotting infusion for 9 hours, haven't had any pain or nausea medicine since I arrived at 1 pm, and is now 12.25 am. I hadn't recieved my psych meds or even my regular pain meds since the day before because I was taking by ambulance before it was time for today's dose. 2 h

The emergency department at Mount Sinai West needs serious oversight. I am writing this based on my mother’s recent visit, and it is not the first negative experience my family or I personally has had here. My mother came in extremely ill. Instead of properly evaluating her, the staff focused on running her insurance and dismissed her symptoms without performing the necessary tests. She was sent home without any real answers or treatment. My mother is currently in another emergency room due to your staff’s negligence. (In need of surgery) My mother could have died. There is a consistent pattern at this hospital of dismissing pain, especially when it comes to Black patients. My mother’s complaints were not taken seriously, and the consequences could have been fatal. This was not just poor

I had the most amazing delivery experience at MSW. I had a scheduled induction, and the L&D team was incredible. From start to finish, I felt so well attended. As a nervous first time mom who needed a Foley balloon and Pitocin, the anesthesiologists alleviated so much pain with the epidural and regular check-ins. Our nurse Erika was a star; she kept me entertained and distracted throughout the entire process so I didn't freak out. She was knowledgeable, intuitive and so kind, even taking photos we'll cherish for the rest of our lives throughout the delivery; I truly don't know what I would've done without her. Last in L&S, my delivery with Dr Thornton from Viva Eve was seamless and relatively painless. He knew exactly when to push me and when to give me a second to recuperate. Lisa helped

My wife and I had concerns seeing a lot of mixed reviews both on Google and Reddit but we just had our baby boy here and had an amazing experience. Every single staff we interacted with, and especially the nurses/peds doctors in both the L&D unit and the postpartum unit were very kind, caring, and willing to educate/help us with our newborn while still being respectful of our preferences. We're thankful for everyone who went above and beyond to make the whole process a bit more comfortable and pleasant for us!

2/8/2020 had my son here and was the best experience I EVER HAD L&D treated me like a Queen. Only thing I would say is you have to share a room with someone unless you pay privately for a room. Which I was told $800 and up yea ima pass on that. The only downfall is my neighbor talk to damn much and just had a baby (who knew) you would have thought she would have been sleep but nope just chatty ms. Patty🤦‍♀️, other than that my doctors my son’s doctor and my nurse Suki was AMAZING AT WHAT THEY DID/ DONE. Wish I didn’t live in queens now that I’m 4 months pregnant I would have given birth here again with no questions asked. Minus the talkative room sharing neighbor
