Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute

All staff i encountered from start of visit @ lobby check in, clinic reception to end of my visit with Dr Hulkins were great, very helpful, informative, courteous, respectful, was listened to..etc. Dr. Hulkins has wonderful bedside matters, I was able to relax during inpatient procedure. The team were great. Pleasantly shocked from year 2000 treatment of staff I received at other Mt.S clinics &even hospital stay. I guess changes have taken place. But patients need to give Doctors&staff respect,in the medical field we must allow time if we want to be considered valued when seen. During my visit a patient or two got loud, wondering why not seen yet, staff handled well. Some patients need to learn respect& patience. Life can't be rushed but appreciated

I have been a patient of Dr. Difabrizio for many years, and he is always caring, professional and very supportive. The office environment is pleasant, and all staff are friendly and efficient. One exceptional feature of the practice is how RESPONSIVE they are to calls and messages via the portal. I never have to wait for a reply, which makes any issue much less stressful. Much Gratitude to Dr. Difabrizio and his whole staff!!

I had a wonderful first visit with Dr. Schultz. She listened, answered all of my questions patiently and explained the results of my CT scan. Dr. Schultz was able to put my worries in perspective and thoroughly explained my diagnosis and plan. It is rare to find a physician that is personable, warm, approachable and professional. I am confident that I made the right decision choosing her for my continued treatments and care. As for her staff, they too were wonderful!

This facility and care team were excellent. The doctor I had was so attentive and educated and knowledgeable to what I needed. She was also very aware of the need to address my previous care teams and the knowledge that they had acquired. She used all the information that she acquired both from her testing conducted today with the information gathered from previous doctors to create a good plan to move forward. I feel very confident in her as my doctor moving forward.

I have been to many local doctors for my illness but no one figured out what I should be doing to improve my quality of life until I started going to Mount Sinai. Dr. Morganthau and Dr. Poor are very knowledgeable. Dr. Freeman is very thorough and garnerd patient trust well. The staff is friendly and efficient. Though Mount Sinai is not close to home, the great care is worth my commute.
