Mount Sinai Doctors - West 23rd Street

I had a very good experience at Mount Sinai 23rd St. Stephanie and Giu were especially helpful to me - they helped me sort out a complicated insurance challenge - very patiently and kindly. The Dr. Trevedi was attentive, thorough and careful in her assessment of my situation. I am very pleased with my experience.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kimberly Peters (board‑certified in Neurology) at Mount Sinai’s 309 W 23rd Street office. Dr. Peters was kind, compassionate, direct, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. She listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, and took the time to truly understand what was going on. She explained all of my options clearly, and I left feeling grateful and relieved to be in the care of someone I fully trust. She provided a strong treatment plan (with detailed notes in the Mount Sinai app), made it clear she was available for follow‑up questions, and scheduled my next appointment before I left. Saw Dr. Dave, a Gastroenterologist, for stomach issues. I found her to be very thorough and helpful, ordering the appropriate tests. I like this practice and feel the doctors are very responsive. Recommend highly.

Terrible management! Had a doctor appointment on the 3rd floor (podiatry) and they scheduled it only for me to show up and say no referral was in place, but I could see the doctor if I paid out-of-pocket. Front desk (Steve - tall white male) was aggressive, unsympathetic, and unapologetic. Why make me come all the way to just waste my time or bait-and-switch me? His managers, Chanel, were dismissive and told me that my pcp did not know how to write a referral as they didn't receive it. No wonder the best doctors are leaving this location! Wouldn't be surprised to see Mt Sinai close this up and sell the building in the next few years. Absolutely wonderful first time experience at urgent care here in New York while I was visiting from California. Everybody was friendly and courteous and I was seen right away, treated right away and shown the nearest pharmacy across the street which gave me my prescription within 10 minutes. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
