My timberline waterproof boots literally disintegrated walking through the airport so they fitted me with New black outdoor weather OrthoFeet black on blacks. Amazing customer service and very very nice owners. Support NY local!

The ONLY store I have ever visited in the world that has shoes that actually fit my feet. High quality, casual and dress shoes. Many brands you've never heard of. Unparalleled customer service. Ron is a true professional who will do everything in his power to find you the proper footwear. I believe they do repairs there as well.

Moulded Shoe has a very skilled and knowledgeable man running the shop! He helped me understand my true size more than anyone else in New York has. When it turned out I need a size 13 8E(!) He helped me find options to special order… and it wasn’t that much!! Another less ethical owner could have steered me to a Moulded shoe at 10x the cost. If you have difficult size feet, try this shop out. An honorable person.

One of the greatest retail experiences I’ve had in the city. Truly old school. I went all over to try to find a pair of loafers that fit me. The previous store I went to, a mass produced brand primarily online but has a flagship in SoHo, told me my ankles were slightly too narrow and I’d likely never find loafers that fit without my heel slipping. I decided to look one last time into a legitimate store that sold custom shoes. Turns out I don’t need them! Moulded imports a brand from Spain that fit me perfectly without adjustments (other than a padded sole, which they had in stock). These guys know exactly what they’re doing. I recommend them 1000% and will be back when I need shoes again. This the way shopping should be.

I came in to try the Alden Modified Last and couldn’t be happier with my experience. Ron and Sam are both extremely friendly and knowledgable. They put me in a beautiful dark brown Indy Boot and the fit is fantastic. The modified last hugs my heel nicely, offers great arch support, and provided plenty of room in the toe box. I can’t recommend stopping by the Moulded Shoe enough!
