My Mom was admitted because she had pneumonia and we were not happy with the service. She spent her first day and part of the next in the ER. She was placed in a room late that morning on oxygen and later on that afternoon they wanted to discharge her. My sister and I spoke to all the nurses, aids in charge and we finally spoke to the second lady down from the top about keeping her an additional night. She had only been off oxygen for a couple of hours and her oxygen level was ap 91%. She was not capable of taking care of herself in the predicament that she was currently in. We were threatened that she would be responsible for the extra night of care but we finally were approved to let her stay a additional night by the 2nd in charge of the hospital. To the Staff of Morton Hospital (Brown University Hospital), I wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at your hospital for the care and compassion shown to my grandmother during her recent stay in the Emergency Department and on the main floor. On Sunday evening, my grandmother was brought in by ambulance, and we were met with kindness and professionalism from the very beginning. Due to limited bed availability, we spent two full nights in the ER an experience that could have been stressful, yet was made far more comforting by the exceptional nurses who cared for her around the clock. WOW! I recently went to Morton Hospital for my annual mammogram and had an excellent experience. Everyone I encountered was warm and welcoming, personable and professional. Plus, their mammography equipment (which attracted me to change facilities) is brand new and state of the art! Tarra, my proud technician, explained that the new equipment provides more range and visibility to enable better study. I personally found it more comfortable than any previous imaging I’ve had, and I was in & out very promptly. My results were available same day on the Brown University Health patient portal, after the radiologist compared the images with my past mammograms from other locations in the same system. Went in for a sudden appendectomy. Everyone was really great (nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, housekeeping). ~ A special shout out to my nurse Natalie. Natalie was super sweet and very accommodating ~ I left a four star only because the food was meh 🫤 and cold. Oh well shit happens. Anyway all in all a good experience.

I usually don’t like to give bad reviews but this one is warranted. Brought my wife here with numbness and tingling, couldn’t feel left side and blurry vision. We were told to take a seat. Receptionist had no care in the world, was only concerned about her break. These are symptoms that require an immediate response to make sure it’s nothing serious. We immediately left and went to Sturdy in Attleboro and by this point she was not responsive. Sturdy took her in right away. I don’t mean to be this blunt about Morton but I am tired of hearing all the negative comments this city has about this hospital and nothing is ever done to change it.
