Monument Health Spearfish Hospital

A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, anesthesiologist, and nurses who took care of me during my surgery yesterday. I was truly blessed with the most compassionate and caring team. From start to finish, they made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. I never once felt like “just another patient.” Instead, I felt seen, heard, and valued. This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had in a medical setting, and I am beyond grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication they showed me. Thank you for everything you do!

They are thieves. They charged me $2000 for me to use my own c-pap machine when I spent one night in the hospital because they said it required a respiratory specialist. I did not come into the hospital with any respiratory problems. I just used my personal c-pap. They refused to take it off my bill. We have no recourse. This is not to mention they charge at least 3 times more for the same tests at other. Hospitals.

The Attending ER doctor was very professional and had a great bedside manner. The nurses also have a great bedside manner and great attitude towards the situation. I love the fact my husband got blood drawn out of his arm and not his hand via an ultrasound of his arm, that was great and I highly recommend if you have hidden veins to ask for an ultrasound to help find the veins.

Dr. From was knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and responsive towards my injury and any pain I was experiencing. He ordered tests and shared results within minutes. Those professionals in X-ray and CT scan were also friendly, caring, and kind. My nurse, John, was also outstanding. I could've gone to Rapid City or Deadwood. I believe going to the ER in Spearfish was the best decision I made that day.
