Milestones Pediatric & Adolescent Care

For the past nine years, my son has been cared for by this office, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better team. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member has treated him with such kindness, patience, and genuine attention. They never rush us, they listen, they explain, and they always make sure we feel supported and informed. Watching my son grow up with providers who know him, remember him, and truly care about his well‑being has been such a gift. We are so grateful for the consistency, compassion, and professionalism they’ve shown our family year after year. This office is everything you hope your child’s medical home will be.

Please request a different nurse than Farida. Today, December 31st, I brought my daughter in for her one-month appointment. Dr. Mackie was amazing—extremely kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Shinaishin was also wonderful and professional in our first meeting here. However, our experience with the nurse (Farida) who drew my daughter’s blood was concerning. When it was time to collect blood for her blood count, I repeatedly requested that the blood be taken from her heel rather than her arm vein. Despite my requests, the nurse insisted that the heel would take longer and stated she saw a good vein in the arm. She proceeded to poke my daughter’s arm while my daughter was already very fussy, but no blood was successfully drawn. After that, she then cut my daughter’s heel to collect

I have no words for this practice but to be thankful I live about 40 minutes away from milestones pediatric. My son has been coming to milestones for 5 years and will continue coming to milestones. This review should have been written a while back. All the doctors are very caring and take their time to explain any medical concerns. Unfortunately my son had PDA a heart murmur that was detected by Dr.Mackie I am happy we caught it on time he is doing so much better now. He use to get sick a lot ear infections they really care so much. They will answer any questions and you can also call them after hours or write through portal they will definitely answer any medical questions fast. We love this practice.. We’ve had three kids with this practice. Everyone is kind. It gets busy with so many children but they have been patient and always helpful to us. All the doctors are great but we especially LOVE Dr Maggie. All my kids love Dr Maggie. She understands the child’s minds and highly knowledgeable. We are thankful for this practice.

Dr. Mackie is wonderful and our provider of choice, but overall, all the providers are great along with the receptionist staff. We are extremely happy with our decision with Milestones as a pediatric provider for our two daughters. Thank you for all you do!
