Mid-Atlantic Rheumatology

I am truly flabbergasted. My pcp referred me here to seek a hEDS evaluation as well as receive further testing on other suspected issues. When I had my first appointment I was diagnosed with hyper mobility syndrome but was told they “don’t diagnose hEDS” I thought that was odd but decided to at least do my imaging and labs. Came to my follow up appointment and was prescribed a medication. Found out I needed a pre authorization and was told they “don’t do those”. Between that and the inability to seemingly diagnose conditions I was very confused. Then I looked at my appointment summaries from my original and follow up visits and it all made sense. I NEVER SAW A RHEUMATOLOGIST. The woman who I had my appointments with was a PA… a physician assistant…. NOT A DOCTOR. So no wonder they couldn’t

I have been a patient for about a year now. I would like to say that Kim the phlebotomist has been especially kind , and professional. She is excellent at her craft, and it has been a pleasure to see someone that professional & efficient. I also would like to say that Patrick had kept me on a really great treatment plan, and I have been flare up free for awhile. The rest of the staff is courteous, and very professional.

Kudos to the staff at Mid Atlantic Rheumatology! Everyone I encountered there during my appointment was very efficient and professional. I saw Patrick Farley, PA-C, who spent a good amount of time answering my questions and providing me with valuable recommendations. Patrick was attentive and I felt he listened to my concerns. I also spoke with Chrissy C. who is always a wealth of information regarding anything to do with prior authorization and specialty drugs. Special shout out to Kim at Lab Corp. - She had to take several vials of blood and I was somewhat apprehensive. She made the entire experience a very positive one. Thank you Kim.

​I had my initial consultation with Dr. Erinn Maury today and it was one of the best doctor's appointments I've ever had. She was patient, incredibly thorough, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The level of care extends to the entire team. The woman who checked me in was lovely, and the lady who checked me out was just as kind. It's rare to find a medical office where every single person is so pleasant and professional. I feel confident I'm in great hands here.

Mid Atlantic Rheumatology has the best staff, and Dr. Maury is fantastic, very thorough, spends time with you. Her phebotomist, Kim, is the best I've ever had anywhere, by far. She is caring, gentle, and painless and quick. I wish that all of my lab work could be drawn by her.
