I had a total knee replacement revision about a month ago, and I would give Dr. D'Apuzzo ten stars if I could. He is fantastic in every way. His bedside manner is impeccable, and he is both knowledgeable and trustworthy. The ultimate results matter most, and I couldn't be happier. If anyone needs an orthopedic surgeon, he is the one to see. I am grateful to him and his team for the excellent care I received.

I would like to take a moment to thank the University of Miami Health System and its incredible orthopedic team, led by Dr. D'Apuzzo. The process from day one, with the surgical coordinator, Nurses, nurse aides, physical therapists, to the last moments with the orderly who wheeled me downstairs into my car to go home. It was flawless and led by example, only to finish the job with a flawless surgery that had me come out the same day with a new hip and with minimal pain, if any. Follow up: I had extremely high expectations having Dr. D’Apuuzo conduct a full hip replacement but I never imagined feeling so much better after a week. That’s right, exactly one week after my surgery to be able to walk unassisted with almost no limp. I was able to walk assisted the day of the surgery and go home.

After consulting with previous orthopedic surgeons who said they could not operate on my mother due to her medical conditions, We were not satisfied that my mother had to continue with her severe knee pain, We found Dr. D' Apuzzo through a recommendation. He is an excellent doctor with extensive professionalism, a great human person , He gave us hope and operated on my mother. Everything was a success, the staff was very trained, organized since the preoperative to the recovery, the therapies at home were very convenient and effective. my Mother is walking without pain and now after 3 months we decided to operate on the other knee. Dr. D'Apuzzo is a top-level specialist, a gifted doctor, and a very kind and good person. He successfully carried out two great surgeries to replace my knee and hip joints. I had bilateral knew replacement (both at the same time) aproxx. seven months ago and I'm extremely grateful to him, to UM Health for the caring and kindness.
