Dr. Virk is the finest neurosurgeon you can find. I had serious cervical spine surgery. The time he took to talk to both my husband and I, his explanations and answering questions are astounding. I have now had my six month checkup, and we still feel the same. Look no further.

Dr Virk is The most down to earth Doctor I have ever met. His explanations were not condescending and were not clinical, they were just plain straightforward and honest. He took a great deal of time with me to discuss what he observed on my current mri scans and to explain the changes he saw from a surgery I had 35 years ago. He did a thorough evaluation of my current health and concerns. He answered truthfully and neutral as one who is involved in innovations which are being used recently in his field of expertise. He honestly gave his opinion on new surgical advances and his views on the future of using them. I took his advice as that of saying this in the most succinct way, that of a good decent person. I recently had a consultation with Dr. Virk about an intricate back surgery suggested by another doctor. Besides being obviously smart, he was so kind to explain every detail about the pros and cons of the anticipated surgery. He ordered an additional test to make sure I don’t have other options. Dr. Virk did my husband’s back surgery a number of years ago. If surgery is my only option, I will have Dr Virk do it even though it’s a distance for us to travel to NY.

Dr. Virk definitely lives up to his reputation. An obvious astute physician with a keen no non sense approach to diagnosis and treatment with a genuine level of concern for his patients. Dr. Virk is a truly outstanding physician / neurosurgeon. He performed two different surgeries on my spine over the past two years: the first was a 3-level anterior cervical discectomy and fusion; more recently, he provided me with a 3 level lumbar laminectomy.
