Dr. Canos is seriously the best doctor I have ever encountered. He was my husband's doctor at UC for several years. Dr. Canon obviously went into the field of medicine because he truly cares about people and he cares about helping them feel better. Unfortunately that is not the case for most people in medicine that I have seen. You will not find a better doctor than him. My husband is very Greatful for his care and we wish he could still have him as his doctor.

I saw Dr. Canos in 2017. I wish he was still working with thyroid patients. He was the only Dr. I've seen that truly listened and was able to step out the box of "usual testing" to really help me figure what was going on with me. I saw MANY Drs. Since 2007 trying to figure out what was wrong with me, none of which stepped out of the box of usual testing or truly cared to listen and help me. Dr. Canos referred me to genetics, where I saw Dr. McDonald. I was diagnosed to MELAS and MEN2A after my genetic testing. Also, thanks to the brain MRI DR. McDonald scheduled me for after testing positive for MELAS, they found a brain tumor. From there, I saw Dr. Friedman at the Duke Cancer center for treatment of the brain tumor.
