Miami Urgent Care

I visited this clinic while traveling for work from out of state and became unexpectedly very sick. I wasn’t sure if it was the flu, COVID, or a sinus infection, but I was extremely miserable. The staff here was incredibly kind, responsive, and professional from start to finish. They quickly evaluated me, helped me start feeling better, and even went the extra mile to help me locate a nearby pharmacy for my prescriptions. That extra care meant a lot. I’m truly grateful for their compassion and highly recommend this clinic.

This place scammed me. I went in so they could give me a basic health test and send the results to a lab. I waited in the patient room for 2 hours before seeing a doctor… After I left, I patiently waited for them to call me but they never did…. I had to call them and asked for the results, and that’s when I learned that I couldn’t get them because according to their email response, the “results were destroyed in transit.” It’s standard for any urgent care to notify a patient with lab results and any issues that may require retesting. Furthermore, they only refunded partially… I asked to speak with the office manager multiple times but she never “seems to be available.” In short, they took money and ignored my phone calls.

My experience with this practice was a complete nightmare from start to finish. I went here for a bad cough and laryngitis. The whole process took over 2hrs of nothing. I paid $85 for a strep test and office visit. My cough syrup was never sent to the pharmacy. Instead they sent nausea medicine. When I called the practice after getting the wrong prescription I was given the run around before they sent in a prescription for over the counter Robitussin. This was the worse service. If you’re not a local run.

I have been going there for over 2 decades and they never disappoints. When Dr. Harris Mones, retired or sold , I was a bit afraid of losing the great relationship that I always had but the care and good service stayed in high level.

The best part of Alambra Family Practice is their People!!!! Dr.Mones has a great team. They go the extra mile to make you feel You are more than a patient. They care and want to keep you healthy. Thank You.
