The first time we went there we faced a bit of judgement by staff but the vet we saw fixed all of that and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a vet. That being said our most recent visit was probably one of the worst. We had to wait an extra hour, It was full of judgement, there was a lack of empathy, the vet that saw our pet almost drowned her then did nothing about it. And then gave her an antibiotic on top of another one and said “this is different than the other one we gave her so hopefully it’ll be ok” which I looked into and thank god it is. But that’s something he as the vet should have known.

Nice vet clinic that cares about your pets and wants to make sure they get all the support they need. Prices are kind of high but I understand they are in a rural area. They did let me know of coupons online for my dogs future prescriptions. I will gladly take my pet here again.

Took my healthy 6 mo old puppy in to get spayed and now she's DEAD.... I have taken her Bennett's 3 times prior for all her puppy shots and not once was a vet actually there to do a physical. They NEVER did any blood work to make sure she didn't have any underlying health issues before they did her spay surgery... DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUR BABIES TO THIS BUTCHER SHOP... their gross neglect killed my baby..

Dr. van Reenen did an amazing job with Charlie Oliver! She was very patient and explained everything in detail! I know my family and I appreciate having her here in Mexia! I’m sure it’s hard coming in for Doc. Bennett who was an amazing vet and great family friend! He is greatly missed but it’s so nice having someone like Dr. van Reenen here! 🙏🏽😇🐶 Best of luck!
