Beautiful place, the Staff really goes out of their ways to make your elderly feel loved. Don't pay attention to the ratings go on ,and talk to the staff ,and residents. Constant flow of wildlife. Don't be surprised if you get an owl, or 🦌 next to your windows. Great Rehab! Great food.

The facility can not always listen to the family...When a resident is requesting medical care, we have to provide it. If a resident isn't feeling well, and they request treatment, it is given. Just because someone might be on palliative care, and their guardian or power of attorney doesn't want treatment, and the resident does, we listen to the resident. Not only because we have to as mandated by the state, but because we have compassion for the needs of our residents. This facility has consistently received 5 star quality measures from the center for medicare and medicaid services and we are all proud of what we do here!

If there was an option for zero stars that's what I would rate this place! My 97 year old great grandma was living here and at first it seemed ok then my mom started noticing little things that were not properly taken care of (pictures enclosed)!! They do not really try and motivate their residents to do anything, which is why when my great grandma broke her hip while staying there my mom decided it was better for her to do her hip rehab else where and then move her back to Messenger House once she was done, the good old folks at MH were not having it so what did they do, the kicked my great grandma out and simply gave my mom a call and told her that they had packed all of her stuff in boxes and asked her to pick them up, without any warning, thankfully the place where she was doing her re

This is a nice homey nursing home. The staff is nice and caring and the location is beautiful.

Visited a friend. Staff very friendly. Facilty clean.
