Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center Emergency North

11-10-25 Mercy North. Called back and put in a room in about 10 minutes. Then waited and ~ 2 hours and wasnt informed on what was going on and received no treatment. Left and went elsewhere and was given appropriate treatment prompty and with courtesy and concern. Complaining to their customer relations is a waste of time. They will just deny and make excuses in the letter they mail you. Don't even get a phone call to discuss and clarify anything they didn't understand. Won't be back unless I'm brought in unconscious in an ambulance regardless the nature of the emergency. Simple communication, and checking in would go a long, long way. What a disorganized mess.

Absolutely the worst hospital experience ever. They needed to do all the things for me and they were going to admit me and get me better then found out my insurance was on hold for some reason and discharged me 20 minutes later with an outpatient appointment for a week from now. Obviously money is the motivating factor not patient wellness.

hour and a half of wait just to see someone for less than 5 minutes! Waste of time. At least 10 people were seen before me. They spent their time gossiping.

My neurologist strongly recommended I visit the ER after having described a slew of symptoms I was experiencing. I decided to go to Mercyhealth North location. This was the first time I had ever been to an ER. My first worry was what the staff would think - no, I wasn't there because I was bleeding out or dying. I was worried of being ridiculed or even being turned away. Upon check in and listing my symptoms to the nurse, I never felt the impression that they weren't doing everything they could do for me. Whatever anxiety I had just melted away. The nurse, doctor, and lab tech were incredibly kind and compassionate. Dr. Julie was wonderful! She had a calming demeanor when I was anxious and scared. She and Dr. Kartmen took excellent care of me throughout my stay and my transfer to Mercy Hospital. My nurse Angel was attentive and caring. I was quickly brought to my room and my severe pain was addressed quickly. I thank you all for your excellent care.
