I wish I could give no stars! Nurses do not care. Went visit my 93 year old Mother there to find her with her door shut, yelling and crying for someone. I ask the nurse why her door was shut, and said "OH she has been yelling all day." When I saw my Mother, her face was red, hands in mittens, and sweaty, with no oxygen. My Mom was there for pneumonia, and was not hooked up to any IVs, feeding tubes, or anything. I pulled off the mittens, lowered her AC, put cool paper towels on her head, and put her oxygen back on. The nurse came back and said she is being released anyway when I expressed my concerns. She walked out the room and never came back, not offering any assistance. I was able to calm my Mother to ask her if she was better, and of course she said yes. My Mother was relea

My grandmother was admitted into the hospital through the er bc she had a mini stroke. It was on a Saturday and they told her they were gonna do a mri that day on her brain to make sure she didn’t have any blockages, a few hours passed and they came tell her they couldn’t do the mri bc nobody was working to be able to do a mri then they discharged her. Between here and Eunice, idk who’s worse 🤦🏼‍♀️

Enter from the ER, helpful friendly. Once Admitted to floor. It was Hit & miss, As far as staff. Some went above and beyond. Some would not even introduce themselves. Some when you asked for anything water, blanket questions. Its "ill go ask" and NO ONE RETURNS.. We waited for surgery all day no one could say where he was on the list. He was last.... Every morning i waited for doctor to come. Never knowing when .. the Admitting doctor or surgeon would show up all weekend.. no plan or information on what the care , or treatment. JUST SIT AND WAIT ... I was there with my husband 6days.... there's no place to eat on the weekend Cafeteria closed... no access to any food. a few vending machine that are very expensive but the machine took my money twice... with any one to help or re

snobby workers. no updates on sugery. very rude. no manners. do not recommend..

My husband was in rehab for 12 days. Nurses were kind, courteous, and respectful. My husband said he loved the way they took care of him. Thank you Mercy Hospital for the love you showed him. Ev P
