Last weekend, my Aunt ended up in the ER It was such a wonderful experience from checking her in to every staff member that came into her room. Dr. Baker was outstanding and took the time to talk to her, and she truly cared. Also Syndney was such a doll- she has this amazing personality and treated my aunt like family. Dr. Baker was just absolutely wonderful and never seemed rushed, and also treated my Aunt with so much care and concern. This was on a friday the hospital was packed! This is the best hospital, and I would recommend it to anyone.

One star for the emergency department. I recently got injected a medicine that is for things I have never been diagnosed with. Also discharged several times when should have been admitted medically. No wonder this hospital is falling apart. But have to say the staff upstairs have been very kind to me when I did get to have a room there. I would never come to this emergency department again. And for all of you out there make sure when emergency doctors bill you that it goes in to your in network, even if the doctor is out of network. That is a law. Allina billing department has made thousands of dollars in mistakes that thankfully I catch and have it sorted out. Good luck to everyone out there.

Billing practices are questionable. Triage/check-in staff have a history, in my personal experience, of *not being competent* in recording multiple insurers for correct billing. Yes... two insurance cards; OMG. This has caused me personal financial, and time headaches. No average person should deal with what I've fought for to correct. Nobody should have to consider billing mistakes/insurance entry errors a part time job like I have done multiple times from this facility. For every hour in the facility's "care," I estimate it has taken 10+ hours of time to ensure the final bill is correct and accurate. I now know more about medical coding, insurance company procedures, and how to navigate a process that isn't for the meek than I ever thought possible. IMHO the motto for this facility (outs

Would give a zero if I could. I was suffering from a pinched nerve in my back. I explained to them that sitting was the worst position for me to be in, they forced me into a wheel chair even though I told them I didn't want to be in there, I was even willing to lay on the floor and request a blanket many of times, the only response I got was " I wouldn't wanna lay on this floor" for over 3 hours they kept me in this chair I could not get out of the chair on my own, I was also there alone in severe pain, when I got back into triage, the nurse was very rude yelling questions at me while I am in obvious severe pain, unable to respond to her, I asked for medication, anything to help the pain, her response was we don't give out narcotics, I never asked for narcotics, when the doctor came in I e

Our family had multiple interactions with Mercy/Unity Hospital over the Christmas holiday, and the care provided was excellent. My dad was in the ER three times (f fall, high blood pressure) and ultimately hospitalized with influenza A and double pneumonia, while my mom was also hospitalized at the same time for late-stage dementia. Despite the complexity and stress of these situations, the caregivers were consistently professional, attentive, and compassionate. Communication was clear and timely, and we felt well informed throughout both hospitalizations. The nursing and medical staff treated my parents with dignity and respect and demonstrated a high level of care during a very challenging time. I am grateful for the support and professionalism shown by the Mercy/Unity team. I will tru
