Eye Care Center

I relocated to the Twin Cities almost 2 years ago and dreaded finding a new eye doctor bc I have a complex-ish condition and it isn't fun explaining my record to every new doctor. I already tried an eye clinic a few months before and had a terrible experience so was super anxious when I scheduled with the Fridley clinic. I worked with Sue then Dr. Beers, both were great. Dr. Beers listened to my concerns unlike the previous clinic and was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I left happy that I finally found a great clinic after a few extra tries! They were closing for the evening so I didn't get new frames but will return to when I can for new specs!

I recently had my first visit at the Eye Care Center. I will definitely recommend them for anyone needing eye care. Dr Beers was very easy to work with. He was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained all my options. I have yet to go pick out a pair of frames but I plan on working with Judy for her expertise and advice.

The entire staff (from Kenzie at the front desk, Dr. Beers assistant Sue, Dr. Beers himself and Lisa and Brad in optical) was friendly, professional and efficient. Dr. Beers, in particular, was extremely thorough and excellent at explaining the issues he could see with my eyes.

Because of ARMD it is difficult for me to get progressive glasses that help far, middle, and close vision. Maya, Brad, and Jeff spent 1 1/2 hours helping me in order to get it right. They also tweaked my new glasses after I received them so that I can see everything to the best of my ability. They are knowledgeable, kind, and professional. They care more about a customer's vision than they do about profit and/or expediency. I've been to numerous vision centers around the Twin Cities. Maya, Brad, and Jeff at the Eye Care Center are the absolute best. I (eye) care, u care, they care.

I've been to the Fridley Eye Care Center three times. The first time was for an eye examine. All of the staff were great -- very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. After my examine, an associate helped me select frames and options which met my needs. She understood that cost was important to me and I needed to limit my options to those covered by my insurance. There was no hard sell. Not long after that, I returned to the store to pick up my glasses. Again, the staff was great. Today, I visited the shop for a third time because a screw recently came out of my two- or three-yr-old glasses. The technician (mechanic? surgeon?) in the back was very helpful. My glasses are as good as new. I can see again! Thank you!
