Mercy Emergency Department - Ozark

The doctor who treated me was very rude throughout the visit, dismissive of my concerns, and unwilling to listen. Most staff members displayed poor attitudes, except for a male nurse and the lady who performed my chest X-ray. At discharge, a staff member approached my bedside and began ripping off my IV bandage without saying a word, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. After reviewing the provider notes, I noticed multiple inaccuracies. These errors indicate that the provider neither listened to me nor accurately documented the information.

Came in at 2:30 AM on Saturday morning with strep/flu symptoms and a high blood pressure/heartrate. Had a fever of 103 it took me six hours to break. They get me in, they get to me pretty quick which I'm grateful for. The nurses are kind, if not quiet. It was 2:30 AM so I can excuse it. The doctor comes in, tells me there's nothing to worry about, it's a viral infection and it'll go away. Does a quick exam, says my ears and throat are fine. Gives me a blood pressure med because I was out of mine, and sends me on my way. No tests or anything. Mind you, I had to take a 30 minute walk home while I was sick at 3 AM because I didn't have transportation since I came by ambulance. Cut to today, I go to the mediquik and get a strep and flu test done. It's strep. The doctor seemed very unintereste

Everyone was very nice and gentle. They care about people. I recently moved from longview texas and I needed some care from getting sick. Still trying to get all my stuff together moving to Arkansas. I want to thank everyone for caring. Ignore all the hateful comments. They should all go to longview texas and experience them and they will see a big difference. Longview does not care about people and leave you waiting for 4 hours with your heart running away with you.. Thank you Mercy for caring about people. I didn't wait long to be called back and thanks for taking care of people in need. Please keep up the good work. My heart goes out to all of you..

No one here has any sense of urgency. I mean this is an emergency room. People come here for urgent care when they feel it's an emergency. I walked in and Dr. Quack aka Dr. Lachowski just looks at me and finally after an awkward moment of silence with him staring I ask, "want me to go over there". And he silently points in that direction and goes back to his computer screen. There was no one else there. No one even waiting to be seen. I go in the direction he points me in and not a single employ to be seen or heard. I finally walk out with my young daughter, while shes prone to febrile seizures and running 103.2 fever. Nice job Mercy- ozark. I'd rather cut off my right arm than ever go there again.

I guess it’s not first come first sever at this place no wonder it’s only one star they do what they want and take of who they want when they want I feel like they can care less about the person in front of them
