Mercy Emergency Department - Bella Vista

We came in with an emergency accident on a Saturday at 1:00pm the intake staff and nurses were very caring and efficient, there was no wait to get seen. Overall pleasant experience for an emergency room visit. Thanks to Mercy Hospital Bella Vista !

I see a lot of split reviews on this place. Your experience may differ from mine, but I did want to share what we encountered. We faced a medical issue with our child recently that prompted us to go to Mercy ER. I have to say that the staff was uniformly courteous--from the front desk attendant who handled check-in and insurance to each nurse. All of these folks were very kind to us as parents and to my child. They did their absolute best in dealing with my daughter during blood draws, which were difficult. As far as the medical goes, I'm not an MD; however, they did identify what seemed to be the problem and got us on the path to resolving it. I also want to give a special mention to Dr. Larry Robins. I’ve never been to an emergency room with such friendly people. From the front desk all the way to the doctor everybody was super friendly and really seemed to care about our needs.

My husband was in severe chest and abdominal pain. Even though we are young and healthy, his family history of heart issues made this extremely concerning as his father had his first heart attack around the same age, so we went to the ER. From the moment we arrived, the staff were dismissive. Check-in was slow, and no one rushed to my husband from the car. At triage, they said his EKG was normal and sent us back to the lobby for an hour, even while he struggled to breathe. When we were finally seen again, the nurse (Andrew) did not run an IV, perform a physical exam, or take his pain seriously. He repeatedly reassured him his EKG and oxygen were fine, suggested indigestion, making it feel as though we were exaggerating--again, while he was in severe pain. After over two hours, the docto

Absolutely TERRIBLE! Worst ER experience ever. My son was extremely dehydrated and they only gave him one bag of IV fluids. Subpar “care”, avoid this place at all costs. This place is a disgrace to the medical community!
