This place is really awesome. They care deeply for the residents and the staff is pretty cool too. It feels like my home away from home. Every place has their downfalls. But highlands really is THE place to take loved ones in NWA. Theyre loved there. Truly.

This facility is clean and is always putting the care of residents first! They make sure that every residents need is met! lastly the CNAs, Nurses, Administration staff, and Dietary staff are over amazing!❤️

The Highlands of Bella Vista is a great facility where resident care is the utmost priority. While visiting the facility with my own children, we often visit with residents within the facility taking part in activities, holiday functions, and meals. It is apparent that employees at this facility love the residents they care for and create a homey environment while prioritizing physical, medical, and emotional needs.

Highlands Rehab Bella Vista was where my dad diabetic bedridden was.I witness poor hygiene care his face wasn't wiped off,nails trimmed or shaven.Dad was not dressed warmly with long sleeves or warm enough blanket with room so cold.Dad told me he had to stay in his diahhea Bm which caused his sore broken down skin. Bedsores.I heard dad cry out from being cleaned up while waiting to visit in roommate Mark space visiting with him.Need better bowel monitoring for laxitive stool softners.I witness dad meal tray unreachable to eat meal or meat to salty or over cooked & dried out.Rehab didn't have enough staff stated an aide to help my dad eat.No other food options offered didn't cater.They didn't care if dad starved.I started coming to assist dad with meals.Teresa & staff turned dad's bed the

It is crazy to me if there is one catastrophic situation resulting in the pain and suffering of our loved ones, elderly most of all there should be a meticulous investigation. Neglect is the worst form of any treatment. I woukd rather be beaten with a stick hourly than left to sit in my pee and poop. Long enough to cause a gigantic bed sore 4 inches down her thighs up to 3 inches into her lower back, bleeding at that. Then left in a wheel chair in the bathroom for over 40 minutes when she couldn't walk or stand??? Out of sight out of mind. They tried to kick her out a week early, I got a 3rd party appeal that granted me a week and a half extention( not knowing of her neglect ) hoping for her to atleast stand. They called me 2 days later and said we are sending her home in two days. By this
