Memorial Hospital West

This is my 2nd labor and delivery stay! I was not disappointed at all! Everyone that talked to me, helped me, etc were wonderful! My recovery team (c-section) was awesome! So friendly and supportive. But my nurses were hands down the best! Just being there 2 nights I made relationships with a few ladies, definitely hoping to see them again (out in public). My favorite 2 nurses were Debbie and Lunise!!!!!! My ONLY issue was the location of labor and delivery rooms (VIEW)! us ladies gave birth and when we are staying a few nights we need to see more then just another brick wall with mold from the outside weathering! Definitely need to give the rooms a tinted outside window and give us a view that will be calming and pleasant NOT dark and gloomy!!

I cannot begin to find the words to say how wonderful Memorial West in Pembroke Pines Hospital was to me. Everyone, not exaggerating, was wonderful. No matter what time of the day or shift. There was a lot of people taking care of me in every way possible. They made me feel in peace and well care for during my scary situation. I have a lot of confidence in their expertise and their skills. Here are some of the names of the wonderful nurses and aides that took care of me: Judi Ann RN, Valerie PCA, Janique RN, April RN, Melissa RN, and there were more. My wonderful doctors were Dr. Luis Tami , Cardiologist; Jessica Fugitt, MD; and Muniba Naeem, MD Resident. I hope I didn’t misspell any names. I absolutely recommend this hospital and their staff with all of my heart. May you really never need

On Sunday 3/1, I was at this hospitals emergency room and was seen almost immediately. Nurse Gia was incredibly thorough and fast". She treated me like family with such dignity and respect". I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the medical and nursing staff for the excellent care and attention provided to my mother-in-law during her stay on the 5th floor, room 5720. From the very beginning, we received professional, compassionate, and respectful treatment.
