MelroseWakefield Urgent Care – Medford

Open late which is the only reason I chose to go, and it wasn’t worth it. There was no one there and quickly found out why. Though the nurse was very nice, the PA Aimee very arrogant and barely listened to me. Wish I read the reviews about their billing practices before going. Wouldn’t recommend.

Very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. Every single person I interacted with was great! Also, fastest urgent care I’ve ever been to. Was less than 35 minutes from when I walked through the door to when I walked back out the door. If I didn’t spend so much time yapping would have been even faster. Quicker and friendlier than going to my primary care!

I came on a Sat night because I really injured my foot. Big thanks to the public safety officer who saw me limping from my car in the parking lot to the lobby and came out immediately to provide me with a wheelchair. I received quick and excellent care from Nurse Kerry and the PA, Shawn. I use Tufts for my primary care, so it's nice that everything is connected in mychart, making follow-ups easy.

Don’t go here. Listen to the other reviews. You’re better off just going to the ER. I’ve received a total of five different bills over a period of a few months, most from sketchy third-party payment portals. The whole process is horribly managed.

The doctors and care was great. Was able to get an appointment easily and did not have to wait much at all. Staff at check in were friendly and knowledgeable. The price was high which would have been whatever but the billing process was terrible. The doctor billed separately than the hospital which billed separately than the radiology department; only one of the bills showed up on the online patient portal. They all trickled in at different times through different mediums. Would really prefer a full bill rather than many separate $250 bills from every staff member I interacted with.
