Meijer Pharmacy

I'm not sure why they ask you to get an appointment for flu vaccination. I made an appointment and got there about 10 mins before the time specified. They still make you wait in a super long line just to check in for the vaccination, which put us 10 mins past our appointment time. After you check in, you get the pleasure of waiting for at least another 30 minutes before they call your name. Don't waste your time. Plus the curly haired young man is a punk with an attitude.

Every single time I’ve had to use this pharmacy, I’ll get multiple texts about my prescriptions being ready to pickup. When I get there, without fail every time they have to reprocess the script, and make me come back later. This time it took 4 trips to them just to get some trazedone. Not only did that happen, but they ran my card without using my insurance, forcing me to come back in person AGAIN just to get cash because apparently they can’t refund a card on file. And the Cherry on top was the lady making fun of me for having to use Medicaid to her coworkers as I was walking away just because she was probably upset she had to do her job. Absolute jokes and you should never want to or have to ever rely on this pharmacy ever. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life by a long shot.

Professional time wasters. Not worth sending a script here. All staff were apathetic and couldn’t care less. Claimed my script couldn’t be received or filled. Literally any other pharmacy is a better option. Pro Tip: I called back to the urgent care I just went to and asked them to resend the script to the CVS inside Target in Okemos. Picked up my script 5 minutes later… Much better option than the nonsense you deal with here.

By far the worst pharmacy in the area especially with basic communication. Have to be told to do simple things like “look up insurance” or worst case scenario, call me before you just assume I don’t have insurance…? Also incapable of informing people when their meds are ready, instead you must visit their app yourself to check. In 2026 an auto text doesn’t exist? Then you have LESS THAN 6 days to retrieve your meds or they take them off the shelf. They advertise 10 days but it’s apparently 6. Kroger pharmacy is 110% better.

They were out of an urgently needed medication, so we had the doctor call and transfer the RX to walgreens. When Walgreens didn't receive it, we went to Meijer to ask what happened, and they flat out lied to us. First they said they didn't have any prescriptions for that med, then they said they'd transferred the prescription that morning (before it was even called in from the doctor) and then they finally said they sent the transfer to Walgreens at 5:15 pm. We asked them to send it again and they said they could not because they apparently delete all records once they send the fax to the other pharmacy, which is completely irresponsible. They refused to help at all, and show no interest in making sure a 77 year old woman got her medication. Transferring all my prescriptions to another pha
